Cutoff was the loose maniac, and I felt that if I shoved he would look me up with lots of random hands. As played ok? With higher blinds just fold pre?

I'm shoving preflop.

If he looks you up you're still probably 70% fav and have a way better chance at winning the tourney.

Higher blinds i'm especially shoving pre

If he's likely to call your shove with crap hands I don't hate the call preflop, I'll shove here vs random players though.

shoving pre is horrible. you dont want a call with these stack sizes. and you need a lot more equity than just a 70% fav to be +$EV.

i like ur line nh wp

Like already mentioned stack sizes are pretty awful for a shove, so that's not really an option here. Calling is prolly ok, but then again I hate putting myself into that spot when you're OOP and facing the big CL when it's clearly easy for him to put you under pressure and that it's obv that you're just gonna be c/f most flops. I guess I like folding slightly better than calling cuz you're gonna be folding the better so often when you call and there's not a lot you can do about it.
