[Closed] 6man Super Turbo Bubbles

I've found myself in this situation so much over the past week that I thought I'd write and ask about it.

6 Man ST on Full Tilt - Top 2 get paid

P1 BU - 450
P2 SB - 450
P3 BB - 900

My question is this - of the two shorter stacks, does P1 have the clear advantage here because his shoves from the SB are into the other short stack. As another point, is it prudent for P2 to make his shoves wider from the BU and tighter from the SB. I know these are general questions but having spent some time looking at specific situations with sngWiz, I'm quite interested in reading and discussing more about the theory of these situations.

While P1 gets to shove from the SB into the other short stack, he also has to face the chip leader's SB shoves.

A way to study this situation is to use the Nash equilibrium calculator. Put the players in each position, and look at the reported EQDiff value. In the following, I have fixed the blinds at 30/60. It is conceivable that you would get different results at different blind levels.

P3 BB: -0.365%

Next
P3 BTN: +1.429%
P1 SB: -0.254%
P2 BB: -1.175%

Previous
P2 BTN: +1.879%
P3 SB: +0.174%
P1 BB: -2.052%

Averages
P1 (450): -0.403%
P2 (450): -0.010%
P3 (900): +0.413%

So, the Nash calculator suggests that P2 has an advantage over P1.

How wrong I was... might need to spend some more time getting my head around this :f_confused:
