Hi,

Either jam or fold on the flop, calling to see a turn makes no sense in that spot unless you think he's check/minraise/folding in a 3bet pot, which is just not happening often at all at these stakes. When in doubt shove, if you have a dead solid read on the guy you can find a fold.

By the way I'd be interested to know just what your "I hate Queens." comment translates to, particularly whether it betrays the fact that you wouldn't have lost this hand with KK+ or not.

Yes it’s just what I said because I lost, and it seems that I always lose with queens. Stupid thing to say really.

He just got lucky he got runner runner straight with 8s.
