Anyone else playing event #16 $300.000 NLHE?
I got a ticket for #16 last night/this morning by the skin of my teeth 22 out of 23 tickets - a 2.45am start for me and 6.30am finish!!!
I am a low level grinder and entered a super sat last week for $1.25, not really expecting to go far, got the ticket for last night and now will be playing for $61.000 first prize.
Another early start!!! 2am!!!!

3 hours to go and I have to say I am bricking it - just been in the tournament lobby and within the 683 entries are 7 Full Tilt pros.......
Think I might be a bit out of my depth......
Just need to be in the top 279 to be ITM with $225.
Final table (ha!) is $3600 minimum.
My strategy is to be as tight as a duck's ass!

Better to just unreg, the tournament is clearly way out of your BR and you're going to be scared money. Playing tight will just get you busted in the midstages before the money, this tourney will be aggressive and you're way out of your league on this one, never mind your BR.
If I unreg - do I get to keep the buy-in ($100) even though I only won tournament tickets?
you should be able to unreg and get T$ - try it and if it doesnt work you can re-register and take a shot i guess.
although i'm pretty sure you can get T$ for it...
I'll give that a go although I am tempted to give it a shot anyway...... my buy-in was only $1.25 so it's not scared money and with the way I am grinding it might be a while before I have the chance to play with the big boys.....

yeah i'd unreg if its a decent chunk of ur roll and u haven't played midstakes mtts before
not sure if i'll play this, kinda tempted since it's a 109 and the field wont be as huge as other miniftops, but it starts pretty late for me

if your going to play tight and try reach the final table.

if your up for a challenge and step up your game go for it.

and 4000 in #13

Glad to see you played. You never know what could happens. While it is true BRM is great you only paid 1.25$ to get a chance you might not get again for a loooong while. The goal of poker is also to have fun!
