i like the preflop raise an the flop and turn bets but i would check behind the river i guess. i´m not a nl player though 
Just check back river vs unknown when given the chance.
He is rarely calling with a worse hand.
I also would check behind, since it is very hard him to call you down with worse hands and he may easily now turn his 89 into bluff and c/r you on the river where you can´t really call with QT
