Purtroppo è così solo nella teoria dati infiniti tornei, nella pratica è una fallacia logica chiamata proprio “dello scommettitore".
Può benissimo succedere che non recupererai mai l’EV persa perché ogni nuovo showdown non è influenzato dai risultati precedenti (es: anche se hai perso gli ultimi 9 flip, la probabilità di vincere il 10° rimane del 50%). è la stessa logica per la quale ha poco senso puntare sui numeri del lotto “ritardatari”.
Non fa statistica ma io sono andato sopra EV solo per il primo mese, tutti i mesi successivi avrei dovuto vincere di più. Avevo fatto un calcolo per cev fino a novembre ed ero ~500€ sotto EV in ~4k spin, cioè 12cent di EV persa per singolo spin, che giocando i 5€ è tantissimo.
Ho visto grafici di decine di migliaia di spins dove la verde è rimasta sotto la gialla e di parecchio.
Simulando su SwongSim i flash su stars senza rakeback (con cev 25 che è tutto da vedere se si riesce a tenerla) dà questi risultati:

Per mettersi al riparo dall’andare broke è necessario un roll di 200 buyin con back al 60%, 300 buyin con back al 30%. Non ho fatto i calcoli esatti ma ad occhio, considerando un ROI atteso dell’1,2% (sempre con 25 cev + 30% di back) o 3,9% con back al 60%, senza pool credo sia più probabile andare broke che leveluppare…
