Ich sehe keinen Grund, wen man es nicht weiss, ausgrechnet die englische Aussprache (dram) bei einem holländischen Tabak zu verwenden.
Daher: drum ftw, allerdings nur was die Aussprache betrifft, drum =! gutschmeck.
Da empfehle Ich eher Samson (und nicht Sämson!).
Und nebenher noch: Ich nehme auch keine "papers" dazu, sondern "Blättchen".

We have several ideas ranging from a spelling like the vocal in "doom" (which would probably be the German pronouncation) to an English pronounciation like the actual word "drum".

This is certainly a topic of utmost importance. Drum is a brand of
handrolling tobacco, originally produced by the Douwe Egberts, a dutch
corporation. Douwe Egberts was then purchased by the Sara Lee Corporation,
which sold Drum to Imperial Tobacco who are the current British producer.*
Generally the word is pronounced like the percussion instrument. However,
originally it would have sounded more Dutch with a shorter, more glottal 'U'.
