Hi guys,

Villain is 23/16/6.3 for 450 hands.3B fm BB 8.5. Agg% 29. Mainly due to the stats and texture of the board i beleive it is not that bad as played. Two flush draws missed. I need ot be right 33 % of the time.

Interesting hand I think. I would fold the river for sure and it’s also good to know what you think he will 3bet and bet 3 streets with. I think this range is already pretty wide I think:
Board: 4♥5♥4♦ 7♦ J♠
Equity Win Tie
BU 21.62% 21.62% 0.00% { 6d6h }
BB 78.38% 78.38% 0.00% { JJ+, 77, 55, AdKd, AhKh, AdQd, AhQh, KdQd, KhQh, AdJd, AhJh, AdTd, AhTh }

Cheers,

Pre flop call I can agree with but it is mostly for setmining.
He 3bets actively but maybe still folding would be ok already on the flop. Maybe calling flop is not that bad but in general I think it is better to call with a bit bigger pockets like 88+.
On the turn we improve to OESD but the board is paired and any heart or diamond that completes our straight have some reverse implied odds too. Villains bet is not that small. So I think we could fold OTT too even when we improve.
River is a fold for sure. OFC he can have some 3 barrel bluffs here but the range SDK put up there looks quite realistic to me and we don't have the required equity.

I think the preflop call is too loose vs this villain. Vs nits you have more implied odds as they pay you off vs their monster hands.
As played, I tend to fold here. He is not that active of a player and now he bets 3 streets...

I think that if we accept the call preflop it should be for setmine and we should proceed very cautiously postflop.
On a paired board we can fold OTT. When 3rd barrel is fired, we should fold river.
