Well it's a first person shooter who is still very popular. I played it hardcore when i was in school. Now i still play occasionly with friends.

The only first-person-shooter I ever played was either Doom, or Duke Nuke'm. This was on Windows 3.11. Yes I'm old.

I played those games too. Awesome games back in the day. And before that Wolfenstein 3D

Oh yeah — I forgot about that one. I had that on the Apple ][+ if I remember right
I don't play those games ether, but hopefully you find some people here that likes those games 
Never played CSGO, back when I was in Uni I played Tactical Ops (similar to csgo but on the Unreal Engine) and Desert Combat (a mod for battlefield 1942). After that i switched back to mostly (turnbased)strategy games, less stressful 
Yea I played since 1.3 being so intriguied by it as a little kid and it was the first game that I installed on our family computer, then first online multiplayer experiences with 1.5, then played the crap out of 1.6 with friends on home LAN parties and having first league experiences in ESL and lastly put like 3k hours into CS:GO in my early twenties. Definitely my favorite esport and when skin gambling was still the wild west also made some money with that.

I have the same track record with the game. Played a lot on clanbase and attended multiple lan parties in Belgium.
I still play occasionally CS:GO now with friends.
