Do you think that dota 2 esports will decline after the current pro players, who most of them were there from the beginning, will quit? if u compare this to real sports like football and such, they have a larger pool of players, facilities and oragnizations to grow players. in dota, the pro scene players are the highest level mainly cuz of their experience. they played since launch or dota 1, and when they quit, i dont know if they will find replecments who can maintain the same level. add to that the fact that unlike real sports, dota is a pc game, and in time it will seem old due to newer games, and player base will decline. how long would u give the esport scene to last? opinions?

There's always something that will replace the declining games. I guess games like dota and lol have a pretty big lifespan, seeing as it's constantly updated.
I played dota from 22 year old and now i'm 33, have married and 2 boys. I still play 2 or 3 game dota2 at weekend but i dont read change log or sth like that anymore. I only watch Minor or Major tournament if have my favorite team " Liquid " play. I think dota2 is a sport and it's a part of mine
Actually the experienced players are captains coaches supports, pos. 3 etc.
And a bunch of young guys burst on the scene on 1-2 positions especially
