Hi guys,

thanks for bumping this subject, unfortunately as for now there are no plans of creating a separate community or localizing the teaching materials into the former Yugoslavian languages.

We are aware of the number of members from those countries, we are very happy to have you guys here active in the English community (which in fact is a real mixture of many nationalities!). It's understandable that some of you might struggle with the language while studying the articles or watching videos. We are trying to improve and simplify the teaching materials in a way that they can be easier to understand even for the non-native speakers. Hopefully you will find it useful.

I think the best would be if one guy from every country translate the articles and everything so u can use some ex-yu language instead of english (upper right next to profile settings). It would have been nice to have forums in some EX-YU language also but this is not a must i think. Most of Slovenian young people prefer english. I understand croatian/bosnian and i can speak very well, but only when i'm drunk ♦ but talking in formus etc would be hard for me

I'd say translating the terminology of poker into EX-YU languages would be even more confusing than learning the english terms ♦

I really don't see, why it is the problem to translate pages. There are for example for NLH around 100 articles which need to be translated, and if pokerstrategy would pay to professional translator, it wouldn't cost so much, and you get in future for sure more users of pokerstrategy which brings more money.

What if we all (who are interested) contribute by translating few articles?

@GingerKid From Ang to Slo I could help a lot. And I can even help as a "SLO moderator" if necessary But at the end I would still need someone to check grammar with me and check for mistakes etc...

I agree about that Its so confusing in our language. We would need some SLO - ANG dictionary at the beggining of article, but in articles english terms would have been better to understand

Hi GingerKid,

I appreciate your/users' help regarding the article translation, but unfortunately this will not be possible.

As I've already mentioned in my last post, at this particular moment in time, we are not looking to translate the strategy articles / videos to the former Yugoslavian languages. There is a lot to maintain in the already existing languages and for now we won't be adding a new one to our repertoire.

I hope you guys will be okay staying in touch with us and learning in English.

I`m not sure if this is the right thread for this.

Next week i will come to Skopje by plane on Tuesday (late) and i will go on wednesday to Albania to watch a footballmatch in Pogradec. Is someone interested in join me? Would be great if i can find someone who likes football a bit and if you have a car, it`s much nicer, i can pay for fuel or drive the car. Could be fun

Well, Albania isn't ex-Yugoslavia, speaks a different language (well, Macedonia is ex-Yu, but again the language is different from Serbian, closer to Bulgarian, and you'll be surrounded by Albanians when going to the stadium), plus Balkan football fans are now in polarised moods after the 'eternal derby' that has just finished (Partizan beat Crvena Zvezda 2-1) and will need several days to overcome the hangover and be able to watch football again

There are a lot of SnG players, led by Gerovit and IvicaIliev77, in Niš, the third most city of Serbia that is quite close to Skopje. But as you've put this notice up so close to the arrival date, I'm afraid they'll all be busy or at least not ready. II77 will have just returned from a Belgrade trip (see his blog) on Monday, but you might find luck with one of his students, who knows.

P.S. If you're going to watch football next Wednesday, how on earth it can be NOT Chelsea vs Atletico on Stamford Bridge (a Champions League semifinal)?

i was on Stamford Bridge 2 times and I`m on a "mission". I just have some days left and i try to get all UEFA-Countries "done" until the world cup starts, so i need albania on this way, doesn`t matter what kind of match it really is and i thought it would be great to do it not on my own ♦ But nice to see that i`m not the only footballfan in here...

And yeah i know albania is not in EX-Yu, but i start in EX-YU in skopje
