Not wishing to brag or anything but call me Nostradamus :f_tongue:

Incredible feat by the University of Alberta. Now all they have to do is solve exploitative play and stick it on top and you'll have something truly terrifying....and don't think they aren't working on it

Yes. Boomer has quit too. He now plays solitaire only, claiming it has higher EV. I tried to talk sense to him, but he just wont listen:(

probably the only reason why they are claiming this bot is so good is because it is importing hand histories to his database, while his opponents are unable to do so :f_thumbsup:

Even online would still be fine. Read a good analogy in Janda book:

at University etc. all the information is there to "solve" the course, but does that mean everyone gets A+???

No, a bot like this doesn't give a damned about how you or anyone else plays.

so does it not accumulate hands in order to calculate ranges and play vs ranges accordingly?

As far as i know, PokerSnowie does that. Plays situations and opponents. And also evolving his game by playing against himself and learning from us.
I didnt found hard at all to beat a bot who plays so called "perfect poker".
You can try it for yourself, it is 30-days for free.
