Hello, I'm relatively new here and I want to get to know the world of fixed limit holdem better. I've been playing fixed limit games for a while now, but I don't have an established strategy yet. Pokerstars has a table for beginners that I use now. I also found handrange in the Pokerstars Equilab software. However, this is not as tight as what is recommended for beginners in your chart. This has me confused as to which one do I play as? Do you use any of them? Or can you recommend a better starting hand table? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums.
I started playing FL at end April and I was using the wrong starting hand chart until end of May I play on stars and I have played 37k hands at 2c/4c, I will leave a link to my blog which I recommend reading. My win rate is 1.28BB/100 and you should use poker tracker as everyone else will be using it against you. Anyone that uses GG poker are not allowed to use poker tracker.
There is not enough traffic at 5c/10c and needs more players the same goes for 10c/20c, because of that I no longer play FL but play 5 card draw as that has low variance and I am trying to learn spin & go winning strategy.

lol Stars at 2c/4c with 60c buy-in. pretty crazy stakes

there was pretty good advanced content on other business years ago how to beat Fixed Limit; nowadays pretty tough to learn/play this game, cause:
1) no fixed limit holdem tables at all by poker sites
2) fixed limit tables at PokerStars full of regs
3) no good content on fixed limit on most training sites anymore. that market has died pretty much. I think Korn who once founded PokerStrategy was advanced Fixed Limit player and bought Fixed Limit to many casinos with deals, made it popular etc. now that he no longer runs this company, Fixed Limit has pretty much died out and is not popularized anymore and is removed from many casinos fully.
Good win rate there Taavi1337 mate keep it up, you must be one of the aggro maniacs like kymi who wins regularly.
I have stopped playing 5 card draw too as its mainly regulars and games are infrequent and I cannot seem to get anywhere with spins.
I am now trying NL2 9max FR which is going ok +8.66BB/100 right now but only 4,089 hands so far.
Thanks Muscledude i have tried to guess your screenname on Stars but I don't play that game much anymore anyway, so no worries. I think you play 22/19 VPIP PFR 6max or something. It was my main game once for professional career for 4 years or something. Good luck and all the best!
Well Tavvi1337 u will have to keep guessing lol, Could you explain how I put hands on here for discussion I know there is something in pokertracker replayer for it but still not sure what to do.

Newer PokerTracker has this export function to forum format, it is a small button at the upper part of the handhistory UI, not yet the replayer, but where it just shows the hand history in text and colourful card symbols.
