You need real money deposit first (for most of them). Just pass the quiz and you're set. Oh and... they're a waste of time. 4000 players sign up, 3000 of them go afk//dont show, and then you pick up the blinds until they are eliminated. Once you get to the "money," everyone's so bored of taking the blinds that the play is super-aggressive, because they've all realized, and you should too, that unless you finish in the top 2, you're making like $5 max here. First place is like $60... on the biggest ones :/

Well I�m also playing a lot freerolls in other poker programms with over 9000 participants and usually finish within top 100 so i think its a nice practice. As you said above once the afk people are out and staks are high - i get the feeling on the better players remain which you also can see in the way the hands are played (not everyone wanting to see the flop with average hands).

But yes I�ll try to pass the quiz and start playing in the beginners section as its written down.

You should not waste the time on normal freerolls. But I would not miss the 5000$ new players freeroll

The normal ones are just not worth your time.

This is no practice, it helps you understanding the rules of NoLimit Hold'em - not more. 99% of these "players" (gamblers) are really bad.
If you play a 11$ tourney exactly in the same way like in the freerolls, you doubtless will be kicked out in the first 20 minutes. So be aware!
