Last week, we announced impending changes to the iPoker network's game offerings.
Here are the details of iPoker's optimisation including currency consolidation, player protection, game structure, and games offered. Feel free to ask us any further questions about the changes.
USD table removal
The first stage of the optimisation is the removal of USD cash games for both regular and Speed Hold'em tables for all games.
• Hold'em and Omaha games from 0.01/0.02 to 0.50/1: will be converted to EUR on January 06, 2014
• All Speed Hold'em games: will be converted to EUR on January 06, 2014
• All Stud games: will be converted to EUR on January 06, 2014
• Hold'em and Omaha games from 1/2 and up: will be converted to EUR on January 13, 2014
• Low-profile/non-guaranteed tournaments and SNGs: conversion begins on November 25 and all tournaments will be converted by January 01, 2014.
NOTE: tournaments will be converted to a roughly equivalent value to the USD games. For example, the nightly $5+ $0.50 $2,500 gtd rebuy will have a buy-in of €3.70 + €0.30 and a guarantee of €2,000.
Table variant consolidation
Currently iPoker offers 7 table types (shallow, normal, 50BB, etc) in three currencies and two speeds. With the recent introduction of time banks, the network has determined that consolidating the gametypes is more efficient.
From December 02, there will be 4 table types - Shallow (20 - 50BBs), Normal (40 - 100BBs), Ante (100BBs, antes), and Anonymous (30 - 100BBs).
These will have a time bank of 20 seconds for No-Limit Hold'em, 25 seconds for Pot-Limit Omaha, and 20 seconds for Speed Hold'em.
10-max SNG games will be converted to 9-max, with several gametypes being removed (all multi-table SNGs with more than 18 players and some others). SNGs will be converted to EUR on December 02 and throughout December.
Removal of less-used stakes
iPoker will also remove several of the unpopular and less cost-effective stakes currently offered. The following games will be removed on December 02:
| X = removed |
No-Limit Hold'em | Fixed-Limit Hold'em | Omaha
| HU | 6-max | Full Ring | HU | 6-max | Full Ring | HU | 6-max | Full Ring | |
| 3/6 | X | X | |||||||
| 5/10 | X | ||||||||
| 10/20 | X | X | X | ||||||
| 25/50 | X | X | |||||||
The following games will be removed on December 09:
| X = removed |
No-Limit Hold'em | Fixed-Limit Hold'em | Omaha
| HU | 6-max | Full Ring | HU | 6-max | Full Ring | HU | 6-max | Full Ring | |

Full ring Fixed-Limit Hold'em games will be removed across all limits.
