Hi chalton,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com!

Only you can solve this problem.
If you have read "The Mental Game of Poker" and you still make these mistakes, then perhaps it is important to take a break and figure out why you don't do the right thing.

Hey qkj,

Then don't post links to cartoons. This is irrelevant to OP's issue.

Please remember that derailing, or attempting to derail a thread is a breach of our forum principles.

my post was absolutely relevant to op's issue, was helpful for him and was intended as such.

also, since it was the only contribution to the thread at the moment, it really could not "derail conversation".

i suspect someone just saw the link and deleted it without bothering to look at or understand it and now can't admit the mistake.

the deleting without a word when every spammer gets an explanation was rude.

Yyou have to play low volume, or you will tilt fast. I have the same problem and that alone solves it, it is the nature of your body. It would be nice if you play live too, it's more quiet. Make the game a second source, job and play, it will be better for your mind.

Hi qkj,
I was not the one who hid your post. However I would have, since -- at least to me -- it appeared to be mocking the original poster.

If you intended it as a form of humourous support, perhaps some words of explanation in your post might have helped.
Something like :
Hey chalton,
maybe this will cheer you up...

i wasn't trying to cheer him up, i was trying to point out what he did wrong, so he could do better in the future. if you ask what you did wrong, you need to be ready to hear that you did something wrong... if you are not and you interpret any criticism as mockery, that is not healthy mindset.

(btw this thread is now officially derailed, so i am not going to continue with this, i believe my pov was made crystal clear, we can continue in pm though, if you so wish)
