Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 42.8 BB
UTG: 100 BB
MP: 101.4 BB
CO: 108.6 BB
BTN: 101 BB
Hero (SB): 101.2 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has A♠ Q♥

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, BTN calls 7 BB

Flop: ($1.05, 2 players) 7♠ 4♦ Q♦
Hero bets 18 BB, BTN raises to 91 BB, Hero calls 73 BB

Turn: ($10.15, 2 players) K♥

River: ($10.15, 2 players) 3♠

BTN shows K♦ A♦ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 76%, Flop 47%, Turn 95%)
Hero mucks A♠ Q♥ (One Pair, Queens) (Pre 24%, Flop 53%, Turn 5%)
BTN wins 193 BB

I don't understand why you think this is 'shipping it like a moron', he's flipping against top pair top kicker, you could easily be making this continuation bet with nothing or a pocket pair Jacks or worse given that its a 3bet BTN vs SB, so there's a decent sized pot -> a lot of fold equity, and most likely well ahead of your 3bet/cbet range anyway.

well ahead of my cbet range? i dont think he is ever ahead

Board: 7s 4d Qd
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 46.265% 46.27% 00.00% 17863 0.00 { AdKd }
Hand 1: 53.735% 53.73% 00.00% 20747 0.00 { TT+, AQs, KQs, AQo, KQo }

worse hands wont call him, better hands dont fold,
he is risking way too much to win not so much
he is never getting it in as a favorite

He is risking 91 bb to win a total of 202bb meaning he needs 45.05% equity. He has 46% equity. He doesn't even need fold equity to make it a good play.

What about you? Are you ever calling as a favourite? I don't think he's ever jamming any hand you have crushed, maybe on rare occasions KQ, but mostly you are gonna see QQ+, Ax suited, 44, 77

{AA AdKd AdQd AdJd AdTd Ad9d Ad8d Ad7d Ad6d Ad5d Ad4d Ad3d Ad2d KK KQs KQo QQ 77 44}

%Win 57.27%
%Tie 0.28%
Odds 0.74 to 1

AsQh
%Win 42.45%
%Tie 0.28%
Odds 1.35 to 1

So its fine to call, but don't expect to be crushing his range.

This is quite a loose range, and if he's flatting AKs from the button then he probably has something more like:

{AA AdKd AdQd AdJd AdTd KK KQs KQo QQ 77 44}

%Win 62.23%
%Tie 0.37%
Odds 0.60 to 1

AsQh
%Win 37.39%
%Tie 0.37%
Odds 1.66 to 1

Not to say you could know this though as its Fast Poker.

I don't play 6max at all, so I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like either any of you made any mistakes here (except possibly flatting AKs from the button).

I'm not trying to attack the way you played it or anything, but you shouldn't go calling people morons when they make a standard play. If you're not jamming AKs here, you're missing out (or I suppose you could just call, but I like jamming more as it makes you more likely to get paid off with sets vs TPTK drawing near dead + you get fold equity) :f_biggrin:

On a serious note though, Zumpar I think you were already pissed off at a few hands before this or are going through a long tilting phase and got into the cycle where anytime anyone wins against you after going all in and hitting his hand you'd get pissed and not look at the hand objectively.

Bit of a shame that, would you still be pissed if he had A4s there?

Odds of flopping quads (using one of your pocket cards) from two non-pair cards = 9799 to 1 (or 0.01% chance)

Ouch !!
