33 set on capped flop, more agression or not

I would raise preflop. As played readless I would put another bet in on the turn, he can still have a flush draw etc. That's assuming guys at these stakes on this site do that. We have anyway outs to improve.

I agree with RedHeater. You are putting him on QQ, 55 or SD,FD played very agressive (could be 67,64,42,A2,A4 of ♥ )

you could always check his previous capped flop hands, if he shows the nuts every time you can asume he doesnt cap on the flop as a bluf, just used monsters. which is very exploitable, so you can look it up and make a note...

Edit: Ignore this first paragraph (see post below). Raising preflop is pretty much exactly the wrong idea with 33 OOP vs 2. This is the worst situation (number of players, action and position) for the hand.

Postflop looks okay. Note that the cost when we lose is 3BB, not the 1BB we lose when we play passively. Villain can play perfectly (because he is in position) and realize all value. We can't. We need to be much more than a favorite to raise once more. Are we?

Raise preflop to get head's up against the button. We can expect him to have a weak range when he is limping in late position like this. On low flops we get a bit of it, and on high card flops a lot of the time our cbet will take it down.

You are right!

My concentration was off. I though we were in the big blind with BU and SB already limped in.
