QQ vs nit

Nah. After his 3-bet he has a big pair or maybe A♠K♠/A♠Q♠. But raising once more is good for the variance, which makes life less boring ♦

When I gave our opponent a range of JJ+, A :spade:K :spade:, and A :spade:Q and punched it into the equilator, it shows that we have 37.31% equity on the flop, and 40.28% equity on the turn, which surprised me at first, but it makes sense since we're ahead of 7/18 of the combos our opponent can hold. Even if we take A :spade:Q out of his range, we have 38.37% equity on the turn. With the pot so big, this looks like a pretty easy call-down, unless a J comes on the river--in that case we can only call if we think our opponent would bet his missed A :spade:Q :spade:. We fold to the J since the best we can hope to do in that case is tie if he also has QQ.

I think calling down after his 3bet is fine and i like raising the flop right away against a nit who's likely to check AK on the Turn. You were not too nitty on Flop and Turn since his range is probably TT JJ KK AA and the stronger combos are obvisouly a bit more likely than the worse ones are so the amount of hands you're winning against is almost equal to the hands you're losing to but it's leaned more towards the strong hands. Thats not enough EQ to raise again. I think a nit would often just coldcall with 99 and maybe not 3bet the Flop and even with 99 added to his range, the raise is too thin. River is a valuebet!
