Villain: 38/26 over 50 hands + he played 12 tables at the same time
I´ve decided to 3b pre, because it seemed too weak to just flat, but now I like more calling and I would prefer 3betting with Q7s and lower (is that ok?). Anyway, what I´m concerned more about is the postflop play. On the flop we have a bunch of back doors, so I believe cbet is pretty standard there. I´m a bit on struggle with the sizing though. I went for 2/3 because I would bet my overpairs with that sizing - well now when I think about it I would actually go with 1/2. So probably I should lower my cbet to 1/2 there OTF, given the board is a bit dry? OTT we get even more outs, so I continue with putting villain under pressure - making him fold his overcards, TT, 88. River is interesting indeed. First of all it´s overcard, which is pretty nice, we can fire another barrel (we have in our range KQ, AK of spades and occasionaly KJ), the problem, we don´t probably shove them OTR right? But still, he can´t really call there his Jx and 9x would most likely raise OTT. We also block QT which is nice. He is not having many Kx in his range either, I believe he can have some KJ, but KQ is unlikely and AK is a simillar story.
All in all, I´m not convinced about my play, but I don´t find it terrible, what do u think? Mostly I care about villains range, if I really make him fold there by my play, I´m not really concerned about me being balanced and if I played my range correctly (though I´d like to know if I did or not, but it´s not the issue at nl10 imo).

Nice play imo.

However opponent has every QK !

But, you have J9, some A9, maybe K9 it depends, JJ, KK, QT, and we have to 3barrels often (edit) against a weak range preflop. he'is 38, so he want to see cards, and he'll just over fold on the river often. We have to exploit it and you did it well.

About sizings, preflop is not enough, 4x is much better.
On the flop, I like that ! :f_drink:

Doesn´t KQ fold OTT?

To preflop sizings I use 3x pretty much all the time, it´s my standard (I know it´s ideal to mix some bigger sizings as well, but I don´t know exactly when to do so, so I try to avoid it).

Thanks for reaction, happy to see at least something I do makes sense .

By raising 3x you give to BU very good odds + position.
so if you want an easy standard Preflop, you can use something like 4x or at least 3.5x from SB/BB, and 3x when you have the position against the player you 3bet.

I would call preflop. On BB we should call wider. I think 2 calls from villain on flop and turn looks quite dangerous to fire another barrel.

The line is fine. But raise bigger preflop. A river bet of $4 - $4.50 may be almost as effective, and will save you a couple of bucks sometimes, but it is hard to know how villain's brain works. (If it works well, you get more calls, but if it works badly, you actually get less calls ("that bet looks like a value bet")).

I agree with a biger size preflop. I don't expect alot of folds on that Flop, but with a gutter, backdoor FD and an overcard I think it's fine to cbet. The Turn card didn't increase our fold equity alot, but with increased equity of our hand, cbetting is probably fine again. With the river shove we can make AJ, QJ and TT folding. AQ is also folding if he has some combos of those. True that he has some AK and KQ in that spot, but I believe he has more combos of Jx and TT. Overall, seems that it's realistic to assume that there are alot better hands that can fold, i.e. we have enough fold equity to make the 3rd barrel.

About the river sizining, I told myself, well if I shove it´s almost pot bet, which should be fine, so I went with it. I think I would play my value hands the same way.

This is the important thing, not the actual precise size.

Is it really important? I mean, would nl10, even nl100 notice if I didn´t use same sizings?

No, of course not. NL100 is a walk in the park.
