Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 6♣ 7♣

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 3♥ 7♠ 3♦
Hero checks, BTN bets 3.75 BB, Hero raises to 227.05 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 39.05 BB

River: (93.1 BB, 2 players) 7♦

Hero shows 6♣ 7♣ (Full House, Sevens full of Threes) (Pre 42%, Flop 76%, Turn 86%)
BTN shows Q♦ A♠ (Two Pair, Sevens and Threes) (Pre 58%, Flop 24%, Turn 14%)
Hero wins 88.45 BB

528 hands, 25/23, 3bet 11.
I saw him 3betting only with 88+ and AK which means he calls me with AT-AQ, maybe KQ, I am not sure what midstack regg does with 22-66 but I assume he folds it.

So usually against midstack, I play check shove, when I hit top pair, and they really dont like to fold once they put money in the pot. I play also check shove with fd, OESD, with AK, gutshot plus 2 overcards and so on.

Hi Mla,

Your strategy here is actually fine given our read (3-bets 88+, AK) because he rarely has a better hand than ours.

I doubt he will have (m)any 3x or 7x hands and his range is mostly Ax or other broadways.

Well played imo.
