I think you played it fine. We check/called the turn assuming he doesn't have an ace, whish is likelly given the turn card, so I wouldn't shove the river because I don't expect him to have an ace often enough and if he has it, I don't think he will call something like AT or AQ every time.

I don't think he played it fine. OK, the villain might be bluffing OTT, but OTR, with two aces on the board, he decides to raise. It's tough to fold a full house, but his raise screams only one thing.

I think that he has AK and AQ there often enough. Maybe he could even have something like KQ which is trying to represent an ace, or maybe weird played KK-QQ. I would discount A5 and A2. I think that putting him on two possible combinations of AJ is overestimated.

Also one combo of AA But still - it is just standard to play for stacks there, so definitely we shouldn't be over cautions there...

Right! The point is still the same, I agree with you.

I do not agree that villain does not have an A there. AQ, AJ, ATs are there.

And I think we can hive him the chance to bet river.

Yeah donking the river is not the best play imo, much better to x/jam methinks. Why take away his chance to bluff
