Hello you guys ! So this river play did blow my head apart. My plan for this hand was check/call on the flop to let him catch anything that can pay me, turn just value and river circus Any advices how to react in spots like this? I have no reads on opponent. Share your wisdom with me. Thanks

I would`ve bet flop, bet turn, bet river, with that shove, i think its easy fold.

I would bet the flop for sure for value and protection. The turn and river seems standard to me.

Further I have moved your hand to our hand discussion board, because it’s fits better there.

Cheers,

Since it's neither a 3- nor a 4bet-pot, we shouldnt slow play with our set. In addition the board is wet. Simply three barrels. River is an easy fold.

Yeah, definitely bet the flop, you do not want to give potential flush and straight draws free cards. Also on the turn I think you can bet a little bit bigger. River is easy fold now.

So, we flopped a set on the wet board and checking as PFA? Nice :f_biggrin:
If you villain is agro, yes, XR is best option, if don't - just bet bet bet. River is ugly and overbet looks pretty strong, just bet-fold.

Bet flop ~1/2 pot. Can go a bit bigger or small depending on your c bet strat.

Polarize your range and bet big on the turn.

As mentioned already we should bet the flop and turn. We miss value.
As played, when the flush completed and villain shoves - fold.
