Such a sick spot. This villain was playing 17/17. He was pretty aggressive post-flop. We had some history when this hand happened and he did x/r me earlier as a bluff and I stacked him. He did x/r me a couple times more but it didn't get to showdown. Against this type of villain I just want to flop a strong hand and stack him. The blinds were kind off passive, so I decided not to 3-bet pre.
On the flop I choose a larger sizing to induce a x/r from him again. A larger size looks bluffy on such a relatively dry board and might induce a huge x/r from him again.
On the river it's so difficult. He has one combo of 77, one combo of 88 and one combo of 44. I'm not sure if a 17/17-guy has 65s on CO. On this river all his overpairs also beat me. Would he play an overpair like this though? I don't really know. My strategy is exactly to make him barrel off against me with a wide range, but do they include overpairs?
