A2o from BTN vs BB

Sometimes this bet sizing is "I have A5s and want you to fold a pair".
Sometimes this bet sizing is "I have 85o and I hope you have AK".
Sometimes this bet sizing is "I have K7".

I lean towards folding. TBH I'd probably just fold the flop; it's not a good one for Ax and it hits a BB calling range.

Definitely folding this flop. It will be very lucky for us to win back the money needed for a call.

Honestly, I would have folded pre flop or on the flop. I'd be really surprised if you called and had the best hand.

As my foreposters already said. There is no need to call his donk. You have very marginal showdown value and he can easily have a pair. It would make more sense with a suited ace and backdoors. But like that you don't even have a good backdoorstraightdraw. Just give up and look for a better spot

This sounds like bet for information. I dont like betting/raising for this purpose. I like to do it for value/protection/bluff -> (already known that its a good spot).

kiromanAAKK, u can fold this hand otf. I dont think we have a good equity here to keep going.

Fold flop seems fine. OTR fish bet pot very polarized imo. It can be air or it can be 2pair+. Or sometimes it can be Kx? I think both calling and folding seem ok but I lean towards folding.

True it is infact. But this just makes sense on regular tables. On fast poker tables I wouldn't propose that.

I don't like surrendering by default to lunatic recreational players. Partly because my sister is a pub poker circuit moron who would absolutely play 65/20/13 and donk 67% of the time; no way am I folding to her shit here, as she is donking 100% of her range on any paint-free flop. (She has never played real cash that I know of, but she thinks she is a poker shark because she won some chips on Zynga).

I would actually recommend raising this donk as standard and considering that your cbet. Ace high is good on the flop quite often. To hell with folding, at the very least I am calling to float.

There are two ways to deal with maniacs. One is to go into your shell and play "fit or fold" and try and stack them. The other is to widen your range and don't put up with their bullshit. If you can slap them a couple of times they'll often stop attacking you and start playing fit-or-fold themselves, which gives you a much easier time avoiding losing stacks to their stupid two pair flops.
