BTN: $10.85
SB: $10.82
BB: $10.59
Hero (UTG): $10.00
CO: $10.28

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is UTG with 4  A
Hero raises to $0.30, 3 folds, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.65) 7 :diamond: Q  J  (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.45, BB calls $0.45

Turn: ($1.55) K :spade: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($1.55) J :spade: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Villain was playing 28/22, 86% fold blind to steal and had a 100% FtCbet so far (3/3).

I cbet the flop with a lot of equity and once he called I thought the K improves a lot of his range and decreases my fold equity so I decided to check back and see a free river. When the J hit and he checked I was inclined to bet but I thought he would not fold enough of his range to make this profitable. What do you guys think? :)

wander what his 3bet % is, if he would 3bet AQ.
After the flop he can have 99,TT,AJ,QK,AQ

wonder what his AF is, if he would check 2 pair on turn?
on turn KQ would donk turn so an option is to ovebet turn like 2.2$ thus folding all his range except a slowplayed set or 2 pair.

if you bet turn your value range is wide and he can only fold.

As played i would not bet river and go with the initial idea that he folds so much so he hits this flop.

Sidenote: i would bet smaller on flop because a very large portion of his range is pocket pairs that play x/f.

Wht would KQ donk the turn? Imo never...

just bet the turn since we have so much equity. OTF you could bet bigger because the flop is so drawy, you would bet your value hands bigger so bet your draws/bluffs with the same sizings. The turn is a bet. And then re evaluate the river. Since you block the A high flush draws his range is consists more made hands. The turn K completes T9. Tldr: bet turn, and bet/check river depending on the river card.

i would bet small even with a set because in his range there are not many draws. Mostly pocket pairs.
On top of that you think he would notice that if we bet small we are weak and if we bet big we are strong?
Many regs think in binary terms.

Because of his tight calling range in the blinds I thought his range would lean towards broadways and pocket pairs. After he calls that flop we can safely exclude the pocket pairs IMO so the K hitting I thought improves his flop calling range a lot.

Looking at it now I agree that barreling the Turn is mandatory especially since we pick up equity. Bet/Folding I think would be good in that spot.

I like the turn bet too. It will put more pressure, as a higher card to the board landed and we continue betting.

Always bet big with these kind of heavy draw flops. You want to make him pay as much as possible with his draws and give preassure on made weak hands with your draws. Mostly pocket pairs? Nope imo. A solid reg shouldn't be flatting too much small pockets here, but like suited connectors. Okay, maybe on these stakes they don't pickup betsize tells but yeah... still imo betting bigger like 3/4 our whole range.

Bet turn, if he is straightforward then when you hit FD you can overbet and get paid off, his calling range will be narrow but I feel like relying on such a small sample size for stats is probably a bad move, consider hands he can continue and hands he can fold then play accordingly. 3 hands for FtCB is far too small to rely on.

What better hands do you expect to fold on the turn bet? Perhaps pocket pairs, but this would be it. The board hits the broadways range heavily.

I wasn't relying on the stat. I just used it to give villain a slightly tighter range for calling the Flop cbet. And assuming that, the King hits his range a lot and hence the reluctance to cbet... I guess it's close between a bet (because we pick up equity) and a check (because the turn card hits his range a lot).
