AA agains 260bb

Villain 4bet you, so you didn't call 3bet, you called 4bet. I think villain won't have 4bet-fold range very often CO vs BTN so it would be safe to 5bet shove pre. OTF the pot is almost 200bb and villain has 120bb left so we could and should shove OTF.

Break it already preflop

You got your money in good he sucked out with a what 1 in 20 outer, nothing to feel bad about. Shoving pre when 3bet+ is rarely a bad thing.

Shoving after his 4-bet pre-flop would make more sense. Yes, there's a tiny chance they're going to fold AK pre-flop to your shove, but as played, by calling, the only way you're getting them to put the rest of their stack in the pot is if they hit something post-flop that can beat you.

Let's say you call pre-flop, and he has AK. What hands can he make that he's willing to put all his money in the pot that don't beat your AA? I guess the only one is a single K on a really dry board and he still has a chance to improve to trips, or the remaining A, the remaining A and a K. Pretty much everything else he's folding, unless he's a retard, in which case, you could have gotten him to call a shove with lots of bad hands pre-flop anyway.

Basically the chances of him hitting a hand post-flop that he can get all his money in the pot against you that don't beat you are tiny compared to the chances of him calling your 5-bet shove, where you already know you're an equity winner by a huge margin.

It sucks losing to KK with AA, but you aren't interested in the actual results of the hand, just if you played it correctly, and from what I can tell in my short time playing, AA is the easiest hand to play pre-flop: try to get all your money in the middle of the table. You're a huge favorite against every other hand.

Man, you had a chance to push preflop and put all money in while heavy favourite. You dhould not miss such opportunities while so deep.
