SB: $2.46 (123 bb)
BB: $0.72 (36 bb)
UTG+2: $3.05 (152.5 bb)
MP1: $2.98 (149 bb)
MP2: $2.03 (101.5 bb)
Hero (MP3): $2.02 (101 bb)
CO: $2.23 (111.5 bb)
BTN: $2.04 (102 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A K
UTG+2 raises to $0.06, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.18, 4 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.12

OK so he called.

Flop: ($0.39) A 9 Q (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $0.04, Hero raises to $0.35, UTG+2 raises to $0.66, Hero calls $0.31

OK he raises my raise. But my initial raise was like a normal bet. That 0.04bet is like a check isnt it? So After he raises me to 0.66 should I know that I am beaten? Or it depends? And how often I can be ahead in this spot? I mean overall. I have a top pair top kicker. Can It be profitable to call? OK so I just call..

Turn: ($1.71) 3 (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $0.12, Hero raises to $0.68, UTG+2 raises to $1.24, Hero calls $0.50 and is all-in

Here is the same thing like on the flop. But my 0.68 was bet for value. Should I play check - fold? After he reraises Maybe in this spot I knew I was beaten. But still the pot was so hudge and I needed only 50 cents to call.

River: ($4.07) 6 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$4.07 pot ($0.27 rake)
Final Board: A 9 Q 3 6
UTG+2 showed 9 9 and won $3.80 ($1.78 net)
Hero mucked A K and lost (-$2.02 net)

I lost a big stack here. What did I do wrong? Is it always wrong to make such assuptions? Which are exactly my assuptions wrong?

His moves are a bit awkward trap, unfortunatelly You fell into. Usually - if you got reraised You have to be very careful about Your TPTK hand. From my experience on such reraise I am beat. So as played - I would call his 3bet on flop and call his minraise on turn and then reasess. If Ace cames on river- I would go broke. I would think about possibilities - if King comes. On other hands - check/fold

Villain play is really donkey,I fold in flop minraise.NL2 minraise 99% shows nuts/set/etc.

In my opinion - it is not correct move to fold on minraise. Balltas did correct by reraising his minraise - so he protects his tptk. Villain could do this minraise with small pair and with straight draw..

I Agree in folding to a min raise at NL2, but Balltas move of raising the small donk bet is ok 4 me too.

After he minraises you, I'll fold flop.

I really played a lot NL2 and your call at the raise on flop is good. He's represanting a good hand(95% sets,2pairs..) but also some semi-bluffs or e(some times just tilt), so when that happens, you should be ALERT ON.

At turn you should always just call, and wait for river.. to just check/fold if hes betting big. If there is an A you should call (The best for you maybe is FD completing which could stop his action so making a small bet on river so you can call by odds, but he looks kinda fishy so he would go all-in anyways)

I play nl2 9max :f_drink:
Otf is reraise-fold. AQ most of the times, sometimes 99.

What semi-bluffs do you see in villain's range? Remember he is UTG and called 3 bet pre.
