I've put him on something like JJ+ AJ+ after the 4bet pre-flop and him check-calling OTF confirmed that he hit something. So when OTT the Q fell for 2 pairs I've shoved the rest of my stack because I felt I would have the upper hand over most of his range. How would you have played this hand? Was the shove OTT correct?

I'm not sure how good it is to 3bet with AQo from these positions. I don't play FR. Also not sure if you should call that 4bet.
OTF your bet is very big and I'm not sure if you should bet at all. He can slowplay some sets and AK,AJ beats you and AQ is a split. If he has QQ,KK he has 1 or 2 outs so wouldn't be too worried.

3bet is completely overplayed imo, moreover in FR (which I'm not playing but I guess it can only makes it slightly worse).
Calling a (not small) 4bet is plain suicidal. You must like to live dangerously

As played check flop is way better, you have all the time in the world to impale yourself over AA, AK and JJ and you want to take something from his (nearly drawing dead) KK-QQ later.
As played flop easy check turn. Please value your life more next time

I don´t hate 3 bet preflop, but I play 6 max, so I don´t know how FR is different. As played, we might shove to 4 bet (i´m definitely not calling), but that´s not a good play at NL10, I would do it at higher stakes probably. So, If I were you I would fold. The problem with calling pre is that we are usually dominated. On this flop, when villain calls our cbet, I think we can be sure, we are behind, so no need to cbet T imo.

PS: No, not way too aggressive, way too passive imo.

We can't call the 4bet with that hand pf. On the flop we can check back, since we have a few hands on villain like KK that may bluff later. The Turn I always put the rest of the stack in these situations, and it's defenitely a point to improve in my game. One can't only think on the strength of our hand, but also the range the villain may have as played.
