villain is clearly a fish. It was a crying call from me although I knew I was beated hoping he will show up with 44 or QJ. but still i don`t think we can fold after 80BB invested in the pot.

The villain checked on the river. I would have just checked behind him and avoided the check raise with a possible flush on the board. You had a hand to show and you would have only been called or raised by a bigger hand. If you had to bet I would have made it a pot sized bet at most to give myself room to fold if the villain came over the top.

Could I fold it? Yeah, even after such a large bet that over the top bet would have made me cut my losses and run. Hindsight is 20/20 vision though and it's easy to point things out after the fact. :)

Edit: I mistakenly thought there was a flush on the board. Derp.

don't wait for the river and play 'sensible bet' on turn, they don't care, just do it.
They fold? Meh, next time buddy...next time.../
