You mention that this player is fishy, but it this a calling station type player, or an aggro-type player.

If calling station, bet enough that they'll call — you don't want to scare 'em off.
If an aggrogoof, let them do the betting.

I like the river bet

I had seen them barrel 1 hand 3streets with nothing and that is main reason I just c/c, but that could be an overreaction to 1 hand?. The main reason I labelled them fish is 90/25pf. I think the chance of non-fish is basically 0 at that point. But

That is a very valid reason to play it as you did.

Though you are right about the let-him-barrel-off thing: on this board the chance of him having a piece is way too high to not raise and get value here. Think of all the strong hands/draws he can have here. You want to get this in now rather than after the board pairs or a straight becomes too obvious. He is in position too and will float with some bd flushdraws as well.

I mean, sets, overpairs, 2 pairs, all jacks, KQ, AQ, AK, hands like T9, T8 (although you block those). These and more hands are not going to fold to a raise.

I also learned that a straight can very often become too obvious with a lot of cards if there are further streets. This hand is a good example.

There are some action killers on the turn, but if he's capable to bluff a lot a check/raise only gets action of strong hands like a set or 2 pair. Turn kills the action and river as well. I would most likely try a block bet like 15c to try to induce a call or crazy bluff.
