I would tend to minbet flop.

Yeah I like this play versus recreational. Simply because very often they can't fold Ax if they have it. If they don't have A there is not much value to be gained. Well maybe we could get like pot size raise called on river by villain in hope of split.

If villain is decent, though he never is for open limping SB in high rake game, I would like to size more reasonable way. Ax should be easy fold to 90bb shove after all

Sick hand for sure, but I would most likely bet the flop already for value and protection. It's not likely villain will limp pre-flop with a ace and there are 2 aces on the flop.

I was in a similar hand - but on the other end of this transaction 😃 I remember shrugging it off fairly easily, because four-of-a-kind is such a rare spectacular hand. That 0.01% of hands need to happen eventually 😃

Yes! always shove here on these stakes! I would also shove very very often if there was only 1 Ace on the board or whenever I think he has the highest pair.

It's more about ranges and price as usual. In this spot is hero ever bluffing? Most likely not. Does he value weaker with this line? Most likely not. Can he have Ax? Maybe.

So I would say 99% of time without really maniac opponent there is two chances for villain:

1: He will split 5bb pot and pay few bb rake for that
2: He is versus quads and lose 90bb
3: He wins versus huge bluff

We can see that splitting is close to breakeven with rake, bluff is very unlikely and quads is going to be most likely scenario by huge margin. There might also be scenarios where value betting nut full house might have close to no value and using hand as bluff catcher might be best option.

But yeah poker is about relative hand strength and not absolute strength. Lot of especially recreational players tend to look mostly their own hand and that is what we heavily exploit in this hand with absurdly big shove. Doesn't matter if quads is rare hand if it's still clear majority of villain range.

PS: On this board weaker full house is of course impossible without playing board but that was more toward board like 885A8
