Flop seems alright with the gut shot and backdoor flush draw as back-up
I would check to the aggressor on the turn. Leading is weird or you think you could get villain of a decent hand.

Agree that the flop is ok with the gs + backdoor draws but id likely check the turn these players are just very sticky you likely don't have much fold equity.

As played Call flop, XF turn.
If we were to lead turn I would prefer to do so on lower connected boards. This almost 3BW board will be much better for IP range.

I quite like mixing in some XR's on this flop given opponents flop sizing

Very good point especially vs a wide range you have the gs back door fd and a bd low straight draw and if called the J might also be an out so you should have a lot of fold equity and can keep the pressure up on a lot of turns..

You can low frequency raise on the flop. The turn is better for his range, so I don’t see a reason to have a leading range. X/F turn unless he bets 20% pot.

Thinking that my gutshot is now dominated, and pairing my hand puts made straights out there,
I went for bet/fold OTT
Had he not bet so small OTF, I would have folded there.

I will often x/r flops where I think opponent is just playing "CBet because you should", but I though this hand too weak at this point.

OTT it is even weaker, so I thought I would try to take it, then get out.
If called, I would even check back the river if I hit a J, 8 or T
