Should I bluff turn and river? Or would you consider a turn bet a value/protection bet vs villain´s range after he checks turn? Let´s assume villain is reasonable, value-heavy NL2 zoom player.

As played, after checking turn, would you advise betting river?

I think betting the turn would be ok. But I think our bet would be mostly for value and for protection, not a bluff.

OTR my initial thought was to bet but now that I think about it maybe xb is better. Villains range is pocket pairs, suited connectors and broadways. He might have something semi strong and is afraid of the straight but still is going to check call, or then he has air and fold vs our bet. I'm not sure if he will bluff catch on this board with 22-44 or with some A highs. If not, then checking would be better.

I would consider to 3bet JJ in most cases against an unknown, but further you could try to make a thin value bet on the turn and otherwise I would check it down as well.

In this spot, betting turn to keep villain honest on the river is not a bad idea. Everything else is close. The usually bad argument of "betting for protection" has some merit. So, betting turn couldn't be very wrong.

I am not sure we have value bet here vs villain. He have in this spot suited connectors - two pairs, pocket pair - sets and maybe some overpairs or Axs one pair combinations... All at all, we are not sure he makes call with low pairs, it is also tight part of his range. On the other side, he can pot control his 2P and sets. After his second check on river, I consider bet more likely (he can thin value bet his 2P+) but still I prefer check.
I just think we hit the worst runout on the turn and our hand changes to thresh. At least, we still have sets in range, maybe 2P if we dont 3bet suited connectors preflop in this positions.
