What is best to do with our top pair in such situation? We pllay against a reg.

MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $0.16, CO folds, Hero calls $0.16, 2 folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($0.38) 6:s, J:c, 4:h (2 players)
MP3 bets $0.24, Hero calls $0.24.

Turn: ($0.86) 3:c (2 players)
MP3 bets $0.54, Hero calls $0.54.

River: ($1.94) K:s (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $1.94.

Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of jacks(Jh Th).
MP3 shows three of a kind, kings(Kd Kh).

The type of reg we play against is very important.

If he is passive, as most of them are, I would consider folding the turn to his double barrel. The 3 is not a good barrel card and since he opened in MP his range is stronger.

Otherwise calling turn is fine (but as a default folding is better at these limits).

Preflop I prefer to 3-bet fold my hand if we play against a tighter opener since we won't be able to show a huge profit calling hands like these (especially if we play them passive postflop when we dont hit).
