What do you think of the idea of check/raising the turn?
Unless he himself has a J, you get the pot then and there, or at showdown (barring any weirder hands). If he shoves over the check/raise, you can fold easily enough unless you have some solid reads.

Other than that, it looks like you gave up on the flop. since you 3Bet, the flop hits you range wonderfully. If he *does* have JJ, then you get your fold right there.

No offence but this is a pretty bad spot to turn our hand into a bluff + raising for information is just terrible. We might raise with air here but definately not with such a strong showdown value
I think Hero played fine, river is pretty marginal and you can find a call also, especially for that price but folding is the less variative option and is also valid.

I don't like raising too. It is a 3bet pot and info-raise is not ok. I think hero played it well.

Well played in my opinion. No reason to bet that flop and he could be bluffing a lot of that turn. When you've called the turn and he fires the river, unless he's a pretty sick guy he's probably not on a bluff and you can just through it away.

Think you played this pretty well, although I think I'd lean more towards a call on the river than a fold. We are beating some of his value ranges as well as his bluffing ranges imo.

True actually, Gillie has a point. I'd probably bet a lower set there, or maybe even AK although his bet sizing is quite large which at the Micros often is a sign. I the bet kinda polarises his range, but obviously without a read or not seeing any other hands in a hard one.

Small PPs and maybe suited connectors like 56 or 67...

Probably a very small bluffing range but I also think were beating some of his value range, I think with the way we have played our hand he is pretty sure we dont have a J in our range so he could easily be betting TT, QQ or some two pair combo for value imo. I dont mind the fold but I think its pretty close.

The flop went check check and hero checked the turn to him too... Could easily feel obliged into turning these hands into bluffs since hero has shown no strength and his hand has little or no showdown value.

Preflop: u should 3bet a bit more ... something like 1,1$ when out of position.

Flop: the flop is horrible and you're out of position. Check seems to be the best thing to do.

Turn: he probably hits top straight and u x/call for a duplicate card (giving u full house -> shove at the river)

River: u can fold as u did to avoid headaches... or call (25% is not that expensive) and make notes about your opponent: was he bluffing ?

I think we can make it a bit bigger preflop, but I don't mind the way that hero played the hand.

Folding means folding everything except the nuts. I don't draw any conclusion, just stating the fact. We are exploitable.
