I think I am still putting to much weight into a bet size being a sign of hand strength or weakness. I frequently play with players where the size of the bet tells me exactly their hand strength, its something I need to work on when playing in a different pool. I am also still struggling with my own bet sizing, when to bet small or when to bet big, like this flop, I would bet everything I am holding hp.
Going a little away from this specific hand, towards flop CBet...
I split the flops into 2 cathegories:
Equalizer flop - flops that take off the "nutiness" AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, either by having strong connections (e.g. T97 flop) or by being monotone
Non equalizer flop - flops that keep the strong PF range stronger than most of the possible holds (e.g A92 rainbow, or 332)
Now, in an equalizer flop, my approach is to CBet only strong draws and strong holds. E.G. in a K♥ T♠ 9♥ flop, I am not likely to bet AQ:club:, but I will bet AKo. Ofc, when I cbet AKo, I don't want villain to have odds for calling with FD, so I bet large with a strong(ish) hold, as I would with TT, KK. If, in that same flop, I have nutFD, I bet the same size (in frequency). Basically, let's say I bet such flop 1/2 the times, and I bet it 2/3pot or 3/4pot. The main idea is that I am strong and if villain wants to come along, he needs to pay for it.
In a non equalizer flop, PF ranges keep their strength. This means that if villain had a hand strong enough to call, but not strong enough to raise, I am likely ahead (uncapped vs capped range) and I want him to continue paying, with a diminished (and diminishing) equity, thus I bet small, but very often, as my range is very often ahead. Let's say in an A62 flop, if I am the OR, there's a lot more strong Ax in my range than on villains (it doesn't mean I have it, I may be holding TT, but AQ is highly frequent in my range). Same way, in a 662 flop, I have more medium to high pocket pairs in my uncapped range than villain. This means I will bet such flops with high frequency even if I have nothing to do with such flop. As I bet it frequently, I bet it lower, often 1/3 pot
Look at it as a balance where you put frequency and size and try to keep an equilibrium: Less frequent textures you Cbet, higher Cbet. More frequent Cbet texture, lower betsize.
Then, I also aplly this for "reg" opponents. If villain is somewhat regular, he'd do similar betting patterns. The final thought is to try find discrepancies in villain betting patterns and conflicts. Going back to this hand, there was a conflict between his turn and rever bets, as almos all his turn holds would've lost a lot of value in river.
