This was right after I started playing Zoom for the first time. I went a bit too aggressive pre-flop with that re-raise. Really a simple call would have done the trick, but being aggressive in Zoom had paid off in previous hands, so I decided to stick with it. Even if I had just called, the final result would have been the same in this case, tho.
Also, only 1 guy got into the hand with me, so the odds of him having flopped a set or had a 36 were kinda low in my mind. And if he had 3 or 6 for his straight draw or a low pair or 2 diamonds for the flush, I tried to make sure he would get bad pot odds to the point of folding. I wanted him to continue with an overpair tho, which was what he had in my mind.
Was this just bad luck, or bad play? Could I have made a better read?
