MIsplayed KK OOP 4b coldcaller

BB's cold call seems like maybe only QQ+. I like the river fold because we were at least ahead of QQ until the river. we kind of would like to fold turn but its tough to fold KK without reads on the turn. On the river though is a good fold imo.

Come on, regular should NEVER flat there AA. I assume this is just fish so my only concern is how to get his whole stack in middle.

I think folding is never a option without sick reads

If you lose you lose that is never a mistake, only FOLDING CAN be a mistake. You can only exploit that spot to win more but never losing? AA/KK/QQ is your best hands in that spot or you have Jx in 4b range? then you can fold KK i think.

and yeah its "50/50" spot you win and lose half of the time (if he has AA there,When you have AA and he has KK? if you scare that AA) so its a cooler in the end, but dont affect your overall result.. but if he ever bluffs and you are folding your best hands its huge mistake.. cheers:f_drink:

Any info on the villain in this hand would be nice. Read less I would go for 3 streets of value post-flop on a dry board like this. Jx seems unlikely in villains 4bet call range. As played I would most likely call villain down, but it's close without any info.

I actually like the line and would check/jam the turn. If you call the turn its like going broke in light version.
Thats just because if you only call the turn you have around 50 bbs left in a 170 bb pot ?

So i dont see any escape here in going check/jam the turn.

AS played the Q is an ugly card but given pot odds and that he can have worse hands here it should be an easy call.

if you call turn and fold river its a mistake because we win here more then 50 % and you have good pot odds to commit here. So i really think folding river is a mistake. As said i would check/jam turn.

I don't think many players cold call a cold 4-bet from the blinds like this without a super strong hand, I don't even know if he would do this with AK. I am curious though, to know what would have developed if hero range bet the flop for 1/4 instead of checking. As played though I don't see any hands we beat on the turn besides QQ. I can see a check/jam turn being ok since the ranges I give him are QQ+ we are beating exactly 50% of his range and chopping with the other combo of KK, when we do just check/call the turn though the Q was the only parts of his range we were ahead of imo so now even though we have amazing pot odds it feels pretty miserable. I would like to try and add a bluff we are beating in his range but even AK of spades we can't give him because we have the K♠:

That flat cold 4 bet could mean AA, KK, QQ and maybe an AK once in a while.

I don't think he would ever do this with TT's or JJ's.

I think I would have stacked off here anyways in flop and turn because you're always beating QQ here.
