preflop: now i am sure i was overplaying AJ
on flop: since such big raise on preflop i was pretty sure he's got like TT, JJ, QQ or KK and he decided to slowplay for pot control due to Axx flop.
turn: i made 1/2 value bet - i din't want to scare weaker hands away
river: i was already pot committed and i think with top 2pair i am ahead often enough

unfortunately he had poker of fours. i know i should have folded preflop, but was my line on other streets ok?

Hey T,

Preflop is a fold against the 3bet here.

Postflop, If you think he has middle pair which I can agree with for the most part, why do you bet so big? You can bet 1/2 pot flop, about the same turn and shove 1/2 pot river as well when you can value shove. Your sizing is too big for this texture and these ranges.
