This would be a standard Cbet I think on the flop as pre-flop aggressor with a over pair.
if you play check/call like now I would check/call the turn as well. Now the pot get out of control when villains raising and 22, 44 and 99 are in villains defending range. Leading turn seems pretty weird on basicly a blank and I want to keep the pot under control when I play out of position with a over pair when villain is the aggressor post-flop.

Cheers,

Check flop is teoreticly aproved (gto you should check 100%) on flops where villain can have all 3 sets. Buut, gto assumes that villain is 1) competent raiser, 2) competent bettor. We should assume that nl5 players wont raise nor bet enough flop to justify our flop check, therefore we should bet bet bet here. As played, lead is fine here, cause paired card can stop villains agresion (and its even gto aproved), call turn is probably good and river is teoretical call, but I dont know, this guys arent very aggro, but still, this is 3rd best card in deck and he is repping only quads + 6 combos of A4s, 45s, 56s which might not call pre, nor bet flop which makes like 4 better combos. From worse hands he might go crazy with A9, some A5 or backdor FD and especially JJ and TT if he doesnt 3bet them.
I dont know what is killing your winrate, but this is not it, its too rare of a spot. Maybe you should try and bluff more often for starters (especially in small, checked pots), you cant go too wrong with bluffs in these player pools.

He was aggressive at the beginning trying to give an image of 3ofakind and tried to bluff all the way thinking finally that you fold believing it got full house. Nicely and calmy you still took that risk.
