What do when a random cold caller decides to shove all-in...

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): $16.60
SB: $5.02 (VPIP: 90.91, PFR: 54.55, 3Bet Preflop: 42.86, Hands: 11)
BB: $12.69 (VPIP: 35.00, PFR: 29.17, 3Bet Preflop: 16.28, Hands: 126)
UTG: $12.36 (VPIP: 29.63, PFR: 18.52, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 27)
MP: $10.26 (VPIP: 19.23, PFR: 15.38, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
CO: $10.50 (VPIP: 7.14, PFR: 7.14, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 14)

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has Q♥ Q♠

UTG raises to $0.35, MP calls $0.35, fold, Hero raises to $1.30, fold, fold, fold, MP raises to $10.26 and is all-in

I'm calling. If he had KK or AA he's probably 3betting himself. Don't give an NL10 nitreg enough credit to flat and induce a squeeze; his 4bet sizing doesn't give me much faith in his trickiness either.

I will call too. More often we will be facing AK/JJ than AA/KK.

A shove here is way too often AK... too many players hate playing AK post flop

I tend to min 5 bet, min 6 bet and 7 bet AK and shove AA and KK :P

As MJPerry said he should 4b AA/KK most of the times , so you have to call, you will see AK a lot.

Lets assume, the player is doing this with AA-KK 50% of the time, and with AKs, than you have slightly a breakeven call. In my experience, this often a trap with AA and KK than not. I would fold here.

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    41.65%  41.44%   0.22% { QhQs }
MP3    58.35%  58.13%   0.22% { AdAh, AdAs, AdAc, KdKh, KdKs, KdKc, AKs, AdKs, AhKs, AsKd, AsKh, AsKc, AcKs }

The only occasion MP will show AA/KK here is if there are active squeezers behind him and he hopes the sheriff will squeeze, so he can jam.

when he takes this line it is KK/AA usualy that he is slowplayin, it is common spot that MP 3bet vs UTG opener his range is obv. and he is not going to extract much value there. In best case we are flipin here and i dont that is a way that we are goin to earn much..
