Based on previous PokerStrategy criticism, I learned to not play KJx or QJx out of position. But, the 15% preflop odds made this irresistible. I hit the Flop with a good, but not great Top Pair-Average Kicker. Well, how in the heck am I going to play this on the Turn or River? Unless it improves, I am not going to want to invest more money in this lukewarm hand. I decided to ¾ bet in hopes of scaring Villains to folding so I did not have to play post flop. If I had received calls, I may have Check/Folded this hand. Or I may have Check/Called small bets. Neither post flop strategies appealed to me. So I threw 14 BB’s in the pot.
