Trips on board with a flush

I believe it has the same result to raise OTT. In case of a re-raise by the opponent I would only call with odds for FH.
OTR: If he only calls your raise on the Turn, you better check behind/call.

Villain looks fishy. You could maybe cbet the flop.
The hand is ok as played too. I wouldn't raise there because you would just isolate yourself against better hands.

The turn it's better to call, but it wouldn't be terrible to raise against a bad opponent that could call with many weak draws. There's also some value in raising his bet on the river - he may call with some weak Aces and maybe even a few stronger jacks that picked a flush draw on the turn and wants to look you up on the river.

Yes, he may call with those hands sometimes, but that would require him to be a total calling station.
Would there be any sense to raise OTR and then fold vs shove?
What about the times when we raise and villain really has a flush. We are way ahead / way behind and we should not put much money in the pot.

The only problem is that SB v UTG range should be tight and hands like K9o shouldn't be in SB's range. He should have 22+ and high Ax hands. Low suited connectors he could already bluff 3bet.
Good villain hits this board very often too and is not folding much. By cbetting we would get calls from some weaker pocket pairs but not many.

So the reason to cbet this board against sb is that he is a fish, not because the board hits our perceived range.
When cbetting, what we have is actually more important than what our perceived range is. I think it is not wise to start cbetting A high boards with 72o because the A might hit us.
We have to also think what villains range is.

SB is tight, never raising pre so I dont think hes going to be betting his draws
When you check OTF I think you played the rest of the hand well, I certainly wouldnt go raising a tight player who bets 2/3 pot OTT when the flush hits
Having said that, I cbet that flop against a tight player

We will get folds by cbetting this flop.
And we will charge the draws.
And it is important to bet when the board hits our perceived range.

SBvUTG calling range should be tighter or as tight as UTG opening range. SB can just call with JJ or sometimes QQ too, he will have many Ax and Jx hands and because there is As and Js on the board he has very very little draws in his range.
I would bet that in reality we do not get very much folds.

Looks fine on all streets. You can consider raise/folding the river, but there's not much that will call (AJ/J9/55 are about it).
