Why do you bet on the river?

KJ and AJ are within his range but there are also pocket pairs, OC and more. Bet otf

The reason for 3 bet is?

Preflop I personally would just flat, but Snowie would 3bet so I guess it is ok.
On the flop we are out of position and we might be behind. The board is not very scary and checking maybe won't hurt us much. I think check calling is decent option, although imo it would be better with for example QQ in K high similar board.

As played I'm not sure what that river bet accomplishes. Villain won't have many weaker hands that would call you.
When you decide to bet and villain raises, I think you should call. By flatting pre and not betting OTT villain doesn't rep anything. You rep a very weak range too and he might just get induced by your small bet. I think 88 is the only realistic hand that would play like this. You have to win only around 20% to call profitably.

I am 100% sure TT for snowie isnt in stacking range pre. so it falls in 3b bluff range which is bad vs fish, better EV just flat and play accordingly.

@AlvisR yep it's 3bet / fold for snowie, but not sure that it is really 3 bet bluff, I mean I guess it is more meant to be called, and often ahead of the caller's range. But it is close because it is the bottom of 3bet range.

@nitrol I don't bet because I feel I only get called by better, and I have showdown value so I don't really want to bluff it either. do you have a checking range on similar situation? Here mine is rather small actually, I would probably check only TT and JJ.
After he checks behind the turn I am thin value betting OTR, I bet small targeting 99, 77, and may be sixes. 88 definitely got there too.

For me, the problem with checking is that we lose initiative and won't know what to do when another higher card hits.
I like to cbet.
I think that 99,77 will call a flop cbet.
