TT played horribly

Don't be so quick to condemn yourself.

In position TT is a pretty standard call vs a 3Bet from an unknown.
vs someone who 3Bets too much, you can even 4Bet it, since his range is so wide.
Yes, you may run into the top of his range. So it goes...

OTF, a check behind is my choice, and take your stab on the 4th heart. Only two other Hearts beat you.
Since you took the stab OTF -- it has to be bet/fold -- which you did.

You made your decision based on your observations, and it is worth a shot. He must fold unless he has a heart (or two) or two pair, or thinks you're full of air.

You might ask yourself why he did not believe you. Are you overly aggressive perhaps?

In any case, you might not have played this perfectly, but you're a long, long way from "horribly"

Calling the flop raise would qualify as "horribly" IMHO

TT is a normal call vs unknown. As said above - we can even 4 bet it for value vs some villains.
As played, fold is ok.

Yes, would've checked behind as well. I see his stats and although you only have 45 hands on villain, it seems like 1) he is a reg 2) he plays with the principle of 3Betting, which are both fine lines for villain to play.
A call pre-flop, a check on the flop and fire on the turn, try to exploit him then. In case he fires on the turn without a heart coming, you may put him on KK or AA looking to pre-flop action. Hands such as A-10o+ and A-10s+ he should fire right away for value and information since he can put your range very broad (10-9+, 2-2+, all broadways like K-J, Q-J, etc. and maybe even low connectors such as 7-6s, 8-7s that could have made a flush). He would be forced to win information and can only narrow down your range when he bets.

Pre flop is good.
You should x back flop, betting doesn't make sense. As played you have to fold.

With T♥: I would rather check back the flop. Not much worse hands calling and better ones are probably not folding. Anyway, trying to take the pot in those situations is nearly never wrong.

Check flop. No value for a bet, and you can take it on turn in case he checks again.
