There are certainly some things that people will not like about the way you played this hand.

Firstly, you are against the UTG player 9 handed, so you can imagine that the player's range is pretty tight, with the occasional JTs or some other such hand if the player is creative.

Now on this board, I think it's safe to say the player is betting AQ, 99/TT+ (some 99s/TTs check behinds).

People seem to forget the fact that there are a lot of combinations of AK in many ranges, and this is an example where you shouldn't forget it.

On the turn I wouldn't bet a gutshot there (actually I wouldn't have called 89o pre but anyhow) because there isn't too much the player will fold apart from AK, AJ (I don't even know if that's an open or fold preflop 9 handed) and also perhaps small pairs ( and you actually have an 8 and 9 blocker so my guess is that you're trying to make him fold 77-22).

Assuming that you got him to fold a chunk of his range on the turn, there's not a whole lot the player has on the river, and while the exact range can be debated, when he actually raises you all in on the river then there is a high likelihood that you didn't get him to fold all his combos of AK on the turn.

It is very sad to make a straight and fold but I think in this case it is appropriate.
