It makes a difference whether you 4-Bet after you raised first in, or whether (in this case) it is a cold 4Bet
I think AQ is find to 4Bet in the first case, but better to flat in the second, esp in position. Note that I don't play this limit.

By all means do this but the correct opponent must be in the hand -- someone like CO in this hand, although here you were OOP and could just sit back and let him do the betting for you. In position, all you need to do is call him down.

After 3bet I never cold call, always cold 4bet.
I can flat AA, but only if or is a maniac and he can 5bet, rather than cold 4bet and gg

Yeah, in general, that's the line we take because we mostly wanna just take the pot down pre.

Here, I did something unorthodox and it paid off. However, is it repeatable, is the question. It probably is not.

I think only reason to cold call 3bet here over 4bet would be if open raiser is really fishy and we definitely want to keep him in the pot. Otherwise being OOP will create lot of overall bad things. In position I would not mind to call hand like this as default line. Of course splitting range to call and 4bet tend to bring some balancing issues but might not be huge issue as its pretty rare spot.

You can definitely construct a solid cold calling strategy, but it’s gonna be super complicated and will probably not improve your EV enough to justify the effort. If you want to explore this line, I would start with BTN rfi, SB 3bet, BB cold call. The cold calling range will be based around AQs and TT if I recall correctly. You will still 4bet these hands some % of the time though.

The V in the hand is a reg at 100Z. I doubt he ever does this again. This is actually a very unique hand. I don't have any like it in my database. It probably will not happen again because of 4bet pre.
