I have no history vs UTG... seems like it was the first hand I am playing against him.
I dont think I need to 3bet KKTxss in that spot, I prefer setmine and play it multiway, hit hard or just fold.
on the flop, I hit like the second best hand I would want to hit.
But the moment I cold call flop, It is like I am playing my hand face up, I have a Tx or 8T, or 88. I could have 9TJx too.. So my calling on the flop was to evaluate the turn action.
notice that utg cbet close to pot on the flop ( no history :( ) but as the playing pool, there are not many players who bet pot pot pot vs a cold call with bare AAxx on TT8 flop.
on the turn, He bet again close to pot, I really had a hard time to guess what hands he could have.. but at the same time, the only hands I am beating now is AAxx, so it should be an easy fold right?.
He could have 89TJ, TJQK, AAQJ, 88... I guess that the fold on turn is the correct option right? or wait, am i suppose to reraise the flop? I dont feel comfortable doing that, run into made hands or ATx
how would you play the hand on the flop? on the turn? and how would you play KKxx vs unknown?

The only thing you know of the UTG player is that he has a weird starting stack. I think it’s tough to fold trips against an unknown, but I think you did it well. I expect he can easy have a full house or straight here.

You could concider squeezing preflop, as UTG seems fishy with shorter stack and MP looks like total whale, and you've quite strong hand. On the other hand he is UTG after all opening and you dont want to face 4b, so calling and ensuring to see flop with this hand is good standard play until more info from opponents.

The thing postflop is, that while trips are a strong hand, AT T8 and 88 have your hand utterly crushed. Having a pair of KK + undercard 6 instead of live cards dont help. When he pots to four opponents otf, and does it again on the turn, it's definately a good and right fold here.

And raising flop doesnt make sense, his pot bet against 4 is strong and you cant stand 3b for the reasons explained above.
