Turn: ($0.88, 2 players) 9♥:
Hero Check or Bet?

I'm still just clicking buttons post-flop, but I'm beginning to get a handle on what hands to fold...
I almost folded this one, but it does have a suited ace, and a second weak suit, so I raised over the limper.

So far, at PLO 2 I've found that aggression means almost as much as the cards.

I imagine that evaporates at higher limits...

One of the problems is that you bet very small on the flop, you should bet 2/3 as minimum. As you played giving to him the initiative, I would do check-call on the turn and evaluate the river.

Use 3/4 on the flop, don't get tricky and fancy without a reason. On the turn opponent is going to check back probably most of his range (smaller flushes, sets and straight draws) so you need to donk here. Don't go for pot, 2/3 would be nice.

I am quite sure that when I wrote the reply, hero had Ahigh flush... Ninja-edit? :f_drink:

After 3/4 cbet, when opponent raises just fold. As you have 0 outs that your are happy to see on the Turn.

(preflop) : ppl don't really fold preflop, specielly when they limp. Blinds will not either fold, as they will assume that the limper, is going to call. so you will never end up playing a HU pot vs utg. + the worst thing to do is to build a pot oop and give up on it on later streets... -EV long term.

(Flop): I always go for bigger cbets oop> That will help me define my opponents range depends on the action they take.> I continue with my top range + strong draws, and fold I would fold marginal hands vs reraises, as I assume that the hands that raise me on flop are either : sets, better two pairs, or nutflushes...

Population tendencies : people usually play straightforward postflop + 99% there is no such a thing as "leveling war" on microstakes, so bet fold. gg
